Leave it not to ‘management’, but to ‘medical care’.

Ingrown toenails, thickened nails and recurring nail pain belong to medicine, not cosmetics. Trimming with non-medical tools only touches the surface of the problem — the root remains.

Specialist medical staff diagnose you in person

02

An MFDS-certified laser removes the fungus down to its roots

03

Pre-conditioning settles the skin first

04

Correction and treatment together, aiming for recovery without recurrence

Don’t wait it out

Signs it’s time to see a doctor

Even simple tenderness can progress, and untreated fungus can spread quickly and take longer to treat. Early assessment makes treatment easier.

Toenail fungus

Shape Tip splits or crumbles, breaks easily, becomes uneven and thickened
Colour Tip turns yellow or black, nail loses its shine, white powder or streaks appear
Other Slow growth, roughness, odour, pain or a foreign-body feeling

Ingrown toenail

  • The nail presses into the flesh and the surrounding skin hurts
  • Swelling, redness or discharge — signs of inflammation
  • Pain when walking or putting on shoes
  • Pain keeps returning, or symptoms are getting worse
Found only at Obliv Seoul Origin

Toenail Total Care, in four steps

Step 1

Whole-body precision diagnosis

The director personally analyses your walking habits and the structural pressure on your feet in three dimensions — looking all the way to root causes.

Step 2

Resilience-building pre-conditioning

Skilled specialist therapists prepare the skin, keeping treatment steady and improving laser penetration so it works faster.

Step 3

Cause-matched direct treatment

Alternating combination lasers for fungus; Obliv’s in-house correction device for ingrown nails.

Step 4

Preventing recurrence

Until a healthy new nail has fully grown in, we monitor pressure and immune balance, with a home-care prescription.

Four lasers for toenail fungus

When laser treatment may be considered

  • Oral antifungals are difficult due to pregnancy, breastfeeding or liver concerns
  • You already take several medications and would rather not add another
  • Oral antifungals have not improved the nail enough
  • A thickened nail keeps topical treatments from absorbing well
  • You want early care out of concern about spreading it to family

Whether to use laser treatment, which device and how many sessions are decided by the clinician after an examination. Results vary from person to person.

Ingrown toenail correction

We straighten the nail — not remove it.

Removing the nail may bring temporary relief, but it can curve further as it regrows. Our correction treats the cause, planned from your nail’s curvature stage.

Podologe is a Class I clinic-grade medical device made of stainless steel and nickel-titanium. Its curved spring wire draws the nail up on both sides — straightening quickly for relief, then holding it so it doesn’t curl in again.

Treatment time About 30 minutes
Anaesthesia · hospitalisation Not needed
Back to daily life Immediately
Session interval Every 3–14 days
Wire thickness 0.3 / 0.35 / 0.4 mm
Reattach or replace About every 1–2 weeks

Functional medicine

The tip of the nail reflects what’s inside

Poor circulation, diabetes, chronic fatigue, walking patterns and rapid weight gain can all sit behind nail problems. Optional IV programmes support your body’s response to treatment.

Root Regeneration IV

For people in their 60s and over whose recovery and nail growth are slower.

Anti-inflammatory Circulation IV

Ginkgo leaf and liquorice based, for cold, tingling hands and feet.

Radiance & Vitality IV

Immunity, fatigue and skin care together — for long working hours.

IV programmes do not treat toenail fungus directly; they aim to improve the body’s environment. Non-covered and entirely optional — cost and sessions are explained in consultation.

In-clinic precision testing

KOH fungal test (direct microscopy)

The standard first-line test for fungal infection, read by a doctor under our in-clinic microscope to confirm infection and shape a tailored care plan.

Blood test with GC Labs (Green Cross)

When medication is prescribed, we check liver function and overall health in advance so the prescription is safe.

Our three promises

We remove the cause, not just ease the symptoms.

Beyond clearing fungus and straightening a curved nail, we treat the circulation and pressure imbalances behind it.

Treatment tailored to each patient.

Diabetes, blood-pressure medication, lifestyle — the plan is built around you.

We never push treatment.

We explain only what is needed, and begin once you have understood and agreed.

Private insurance

Toenail treatment can be claimed

Claims are possible on private health insurance once a disease code is registered after diagnosis by our medical team. Coverage depends on your insurer and policy, and an excess may apply.

Our reception staff will help with the paperwork.

Frequently asked

How is this different from a nail salon?

We take a medical approach: diagnosis, hygiene management, a treatment plan, MFDS-certified medical devices and personalised prescriptions — treating the root cause, not just the surface.

Will my nail be removed?

No. Treatment is non-surgical and conservative; the nail is kept and corrected.

Does it hurt?

Most treatment is done without anaesthesia, and pre-conditioning involves very little pain.

How long does treatment take?

Each session takes about 30 minutes. Because a nail takes six months to a year to grow out fully, treatment is complete only once a healthy new nail has grown through. The number of sessions is set after diagnosis and varies by person.
